Rainwater Harvesting is practised at Vagdevi to save rainwater and enable students learn and gain knowledge about water conservation. Rainwater harvesting helps in combating effects of climatic change which is the need of the hour. The set – up  is so designed that no rain water that falls in our campus is wasted and ensures that rainwater from roof tops and surface run off  is utilized in the most efficient manner. Our campus is designed in such a way that the rain water from the entire campus is collected and transported to three separate collection tanks which is of 10,00,000 litres capacity. The harvested rain water is used for gardening and sanitary purposes.
