KaleidoKarnival – Samarpana Serenade: Where Festivals Unite

The much-anticipated Annual Day of Vagdevi Vilas School, Whitefield, took place on 30th November 2024, showcasing an awe-inspiring confluence of art, culture, and spirituality under the theme, “KaleidoKarnival – Samarpana Serenade: Where Festivals Unite.” The event brought together the vibrant traditions of Indic festivals in a grand celebration of Sanatana Dharma, reflecting the essence of unity in diversity.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries: Smt. Jeyanthi Rajesh, Group Director at ISRO, our Chief Guest, who inaugurated the festivities alongside our respected Chairman, Shri. K. Harish, CEO Ms. Shyallet Sabrina Coelho, Administrator, Shri. Pramod Bhat, Principal Smt. Dimple Jana, and Vice Principal Smt. Khushboo Jain. Their inspiring presence added to the grandeur of the occasion.

Students from Classes 1 to 10 delivered a spectacular display of talent, presenting a panoply of colourful performances that celebrated the unique festivals of every Indian state. The performances highlighted the spiritual and cultural significance of various festivals, from the exuberance of Pongal and Holi to the devotion of Navaratri and the illumination of Diwali. The programme culminated in a moving depiction of the burning of Ravana’s effigy, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
